Luna Rise - Powerful Austrian Rock Band Returns

We do try to keep an eye on bands that we have featured in the past if their music stood out. This is a huge musical world we live in so sometimes that becomes difficult but our friends from Luna Rise got back in touch recently with some more powerful music from Austria.

The progressive dark rock band continues to churn out music that is a step above most of what you hear out there today. Since Luna Rise partnered with NRT Records the professional production of their music has grown tremendously and grabbed them a growing army of fans worldwide.

The latest release is the full length record Dark Days And Bright Nights. The 12 track album is a concept album of sorts with 6 songs on the the dark side and 6 more on the bright one. The album opener sets the tone right away with a building energy paired with some progressive sounds and Chris Divine’s emotional vocal style. The band shows off their melodic side with the strong “Valentine”. There are many musical elements here layered together to make a complete and very memorable song. Enjoy the music video here:

Luna Rise shows off some diversity with the slowed down rock ballad “The Secret In You”. The emotional vocals share the space with almost orchestral sounds from the rest of the band. This one will touch at your soul. The energy returns with some wild guitar skills on “Silent Screams”. The progression of the album is intense as it takes the listener on a wild ride through the fast paced “The Storm” and then the closer “The Anthem Of The Night” which slows it down a little to create that darker tone that will stick with you long after the record has stopped playing.
