There is something truly mesmerizing about a guitarist that can really shred,  Anyone who has ever picked up a guitar can appreciate how hard it is to do what some of these musicians are able to do.  We recently came accross Xander Demos who will make your jaw drop.

Xander Demos

Known as one of today’s premier metal shred guitarist, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has really been making a name for himself.  Xander Demos fronts his own solo band XDB as well as performing with many other artists.  He has left large crowds in awe as a supporting act for usch luminaries as Symphony X, Adrenaline Mob, Buckethead, UFO, and Lizzy Borden.  The sponsors have caught on too as Xander os endorsed by V-Picks, the Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra as well as Hughes and Kettner amps, Matrix Amplification, Mission pedals, ISP Guitar Systems and Suhr Guitars, Amps & Effects, McNaught Guitars (who recently completed production of the first Xander Demos Signature Guitar), Conklin Guitars and John Dixon Cases.

A little while back Xander Demos released the full length album Guitarcadia.  The 10 track record is a testament to the skills of this amazing guitarist.  From the powerful opener “Right Angles” to the fast moving “White Knuckle Driving” your will find yourself holding your breath to see where the next solo will go.  There is no fear to take on classic covers either.  Xander’s versions of “Boys Of Summer” and the closer “Lady In Red” will leave you wanting more of these redos that have so much more feel than the originals.  If you want to be left in awe take a listen at:
