Pop Punk Pile Up Debuts Line Up For 2018

Festivals throughout the UK aren’t anything new. However, Pop Punk Pile Up Festival will be making its debut in 2018.

The new festival is Riff Media’s first branching out into the festival circuit after a successful decade. After a year of huge growth, successful events, and gaining a wealth of contacts, 2018 just seemed like the right time for the leap on a festival project.

Pop Punk Pile Up Festival Debuts from April 27-29 at The Venue in Selby, England.

Riff Media are famous for their diverse lineups and Pop Punk Pile Up is no exception. Filled with a mix of genres, fans of heavy punk to alternative rock will find a variety of bands playing across the weekend. Rig Media wanted to make the crowd feel welcome, offering a variety of genres in a small venue. While a secret headline act has yet to be announced to play through the entire weekend, there’s interest from large bands to grow the festival on a large scale in the next years.

“Running events has been something we have done for 10 years and now we feel the time is right to show the world we can go that step further and host a huge event like a festival,” said Riff Media Director Adam Ruane. “We have opted to use the venue that we grew in. Music is a long held passion and this is a step forward for us. We are hoping to achieve success in our first year to help us develop and grow the festival!”

Guaranteed to be sweaty and loud, the intimate festival is priced at £25 for a day and £40 for the weekend. A portion of the profits will be donated to worthwhile local causes such as Carecent and Mission Trinity to buy food and other items for those in need. Riff Media want to use music and their platform to help society and the less fortunate and believe this is their chance to do it on a huge scale.
