Ray Ray of Smoke One ENT – Dark Rap Star Rising In Memphis

Any artist that hopes for success must be willing to get out there and network with other artists.  Sometimes you will work with talents that are way above your current level and other times you will be working with someone who is just getting started in the game.  Both are equally important to help put yourself on the music landscape.  One who seems to get this is Ray Ray of Smoke One ENT.

Ray Ray

Born in Flint, Michigan in September of 1990, and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Ray Ray also known as Charles Ray Hill II is a rapper and producer constantly growing his game.  He was exposed to musical talent early inspired by his older brother and stepfather Vic Charles who was a Memphis legend playing bass for the likes of Bootsy Collins and BB King among others.

Ray Ray learned early to get involved in the scene and got to work with such talents as Lil Wyte, Koopsta Knicca of Da Mafia 6ix, Mastamind of the group Natas.  The Smoke ENT crew added even more knowledge and skills to his repertoire creating a truly talented rising star.

The most recent album by Ray Ray of Smoke One ENT is the strong Hellaween 2.  The 9 track album creates a full experience for lovers of the dark rap game.  The opener “Rasin Hell” starts it off with Ray Ray’s original vocal style firing out lyrics that grab attention immediately.  There is a macabre feel throughout the record but “Voices” brings the vibe even deeper.  The beat creeps along creating a spooky feel as he raps about underworld characters.  The talents of Razakel and Smoke Da Donna are brought in on “Live To Kill You”.  This banger has an in your face flow even though the beat is relatively calm in comparison.  The closer “On God” loops back to feature the impressive lyrics of Ray Ray firing out in a pace that will make any rapper jealous.  When this album gets the exposure it deserves the fans will flock to Smoke One ENT.
