Being in a musical act with a family member is known to be a difficult experience. We all have heard the stories of Oasis, The BeeGees, and The Everly brothers. Maybe it is different with our latest find The Harmalators.
The band from Santa Rosa, California is made up of twin brothers. Marlon Kay plays bass guitar and Norman Kay plays guitar and keyboards. Together as The Harmalators, the duo offers a classic pop-rock sound. They have been featured on national television, Mediabase charts, and have had three #1 hits on HitsYouLove radio station in Chicago.
The band recently released their latest album Master Of The Speed Of Light. The lead single “I’m Trying To Get Through To You” is a sweet song with a fun brit-pop feel. An airy atmosphere builds in the background as the vocals reach out for attention. There is an emotion here that draws in the listener. The repeated chorus makes sure that The Harmalators do get through.
