First off, how did the name The Godfada come about?
I used to call myself The Godfather then I wanted to go back to my culture and
How would you describe your sound?
My sound is more of a old school style with a new school flavor.
Which artists have had the biggest influence on you?
T-pain is my idol as well as 2 Chainz. Those two artist have something unique when it comes to their style.
How does a song come together for you? What is your songwriting process?
For a song to come to me I get a beat I listen to it with in five minutes a hook is in my head I will play the beat and hook in my head for weeks. Once I get inspired after watching a hip-hop show or movie. Im ready to go to the studio to record.
There seems to be a message in your latest track “Karma”. Tell us about it?
Ok so Karma is a song about how people don’t wanna see you win. Its a song that tells how people constantly try to bring you down and hurt you. Karma comes back around and you get what you pay for.
How does The Godfada connect with his fans?
I connect with fans by talking to them personally I post a lot on instagram and msg my fans back.
Share some advice for other rising hip-hop stars?
My advice for other artist is keep going no matter what is going on keep pushing.
What does the future hold for The Godfada?
For me I have a huge project going on real soon hitting stores on May 1st called Retribution.
