An artist has the ability to make a difference to the listeners of their music. Our recent discovery C Sensei uses his sound to motivate his fans to do good in these difficult times.
We caught up with the up and coming hip-hop star to get a little deeper into his psyche. Enjoy the interview:
First off, tell us about the name C Sensei?
Well my older brother gave me Sensei name. The letter C stands for Christopher which is my first name. I would like to say is I wanted to be a teacher of good.
How would you describe your sound?
C Sensei is a motivational artist. Uplifting others through these hard times to still do good.
Which artists have had the biggest influence on you?
My biggest influences would have to be Gucci Mane and Wiz Khalifa. C Sensei is a relaxing but fun type of artist. You have to find balance in life.
What is it that drives you to create music?
To make a difference in the world. My goal is to inspire people to come to God. We live in a fallen world but we must not stop doing good. We can be change.
Your new single and video for “Don’t Gas Me Up” is fire. Tell us about making it, and about all those cars in the video?
The whole video was a blessing. I literally paid $0 for the Ferrari and Porsche.
