Saturday morning after a long night of drinking is the perfect time to scour through Youtube to find some interesting new music. Today’s search came across a great package of a good alternative rock song with some cool visuals to add to the experience. Let us share Montecore and their song “Ex-Wish” with you.
The music jumps right out at you with a fast paced open and some kind of spooky claymation style images. The jangly guitars push the song forward while some atmospheric noise fills out the sound. Definitely a promising start from the Chicago band. Montecore core is now preparing their debut album for early 2015 which will be followed by a tour. Keep an eye on these guys.
