It has been a tremendously tough time for all of us over the past 2 years. Health concerns, lockdowns, career concerns, etc. The struggle for artists has been drastic both monetarily and mentally. Our recent discovery Redray Frazier is willing to be open and honest about it and has a new single “The Real Thing” to show for it.
The artist born in Queens, NY got his early start singing in his father’s Baptist Church choir in New Jersey. The gift was evident early and Redray Frazier put his heart and soul into getting better as a singer and artist. Opportunities came often for the talented professional. Redray opened for such names as Lenny Kravitz and Ben Harper, along with joining Talking Heads lead singer David Byrne’s touring band.
Now based in Portland, Oregon, Redray Frazier released his first single “Better Man” back in 2020 on the Greystone Music Group label. Obviously, the world came to a screeching halt after that. The confusion and uncertainty of how to move forward with his career hit hard. Through that struggle, we now are ready to receive his next single “The Real Thing” on March 6th 2022.
The song is a smooth banger that highlights the true talent of Redray Frazier. Slick production allows the beat to creep into your soul. The vocals are a true strongpoint here as well.
