IBG Interview – 8 Questions With… Belle Aire (Now Go Vote!)

Belle Aire

As artists we should all enjoy the process of creating music. When we can also use our musical talents to uplift and motivate society to do the right thing it is even more empowering. Our recent discovery Belle Aire is doing just that with her new hit “It’s Time To Vote”.

We caught up with the energetic singer to get a little behind the scenes to her motivation for this track. Enjoy the interview here:

First off, how did the name Belle Aire come about?

My team held a focus group, and while several names were suggested, none seemed to fit until someone made the comment, “You’re like a breath of fresh air! Your energy and beautiful personality, inspires all of us to live out our dreams.” So for beauty, we came up with Belle. And air, sort of speaks for itself. It made perfect sense, and that’s how my name came to be.

How would you describe your sound?

I would describe my sound as a powerful blend of high energy vocals and vibrant beats that transcends barriers, embodying the spirit of freedom and creativity.

Which artists have had the biggest influence on you?

There are probably too many to name for this interview. But I would have to say the artists who have really shaped my musical soul are Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Adele. Whitney could tell a story with a simple note; Celine Dion’s ability to deliver a heart-wrenching ballad is unparalleled. And Adele, is just raw honesty. Each one of them have contributed to inspiring my artistry and creative journey.

What is it that draws Belle Aire to creating music?

What draws me to creating music is the way lyrics and melodies come together. It’s like putting together a symphony. Adding one layer on top of another, creates something really special…that’s universal, that can speak to everyone.

Your recent song “It’s Time To Vote” definitely has a message. Tell us more about that?

The message of my song “It’s Time to Vote” was inspired by my father, a passionate advocate for living your dreams, giving back, and fostering community unity; he taught me that coming together as a people is essential for making a difference in the world. His belief that change starts with each individual motivates me to encourage others to get out there and vote, to ensure their voices are heard, to speak their truth, and to stand up for what they believe in.

Why is this so important to you?

This is important to me because of what my father instilled in me.

It embodies my father’s legacy! My dad fought for the right just to vote. So growing up, I witnessed firsthand the impact of civic engagement and the power of what voting can accomplish. He always emphasized that our voices matter and that real change begins when individuals step up. And it’s important to vote on every level, not just federal.

We are living in in a time where we can easily become overwhelmed by the political wars and social divides. This song serves as a simple reminder that we all have a say it what happens. If you we choose not to exercise our voice, it’s more than a wasted opportunity, it’s a gross neglect of the responsibility we all have to make the future our society a better place for everyone.

By encouraging people to vote, I hope to ignite a collective spirit of action and purpose. I want to empower people to create the change they wish to see.

You teamed up with Chico Bennett to produce this one. Share the experience working with the renowned music producer.

Collaborating with Chico Bennett on “It’s Time to Vote” was nothing short of transformative. Chico has worked with icons like Lady Gaga, Usher, and Madonna. He has an incredible talent for bringing ideas to life…and it was no different with him working on this project.

Chico’s unwavering confidence and keen sense of direction quickly dispelled any early concerns on my end. His vision was clear. This was to be an anthem with a powerful message that will resonate with everyone who hears it.

What does the future hold for Belle Aire?

What’s next? I know what I’d like to be next… A Grammy! However, I know it doesn’t quite happen that way. So, that’s a really difficult question to answer. In the meantime, I am working on booking headline spots in festivals like Tomorrowland. My vision extends far beyond just personal accolades. I really have a commitment to empower and uplift others. That will keep me busy for a really long.
