The new sound may not fit within the music brand you have built up already but that is no excuse. It is easy enough to add more music to the world using another moniker. Our friends from The Manic Emotions share a new track with us under the name Astralix.
The pair of Utah based indie singer-songwriter Gary Dranow and Melbourne based Chris Zoupa have been collaborating for quite a while now and are always open to each other’s ideas. Through some experience DJing, Gary got the bug to create a more EDM based sound. He brought the basics to Chris and Astralix was born. The pair embraces new exploits and is not afraid to step into new realms.
The first single released by Astralix is the undeniably fun “The Rhythm Fills My Soul.” Right away you can hear the imaginations flowing. The smooth beat is not the punch in the face that many new songs of the genre provide. Astralix keeps it easy going and welcoming. The addition of Malena to provide vocals adds a pop touch to the track that makes it perfect both in and out of the club. The lyrics get us all in the mood for the party and the fun of the dancefloor.
