Hailing from the beauty of Kapaau, Hawaii, Jonathan Ditto, also known as Johnny Diggs, has become a Songwriter , Lyricist, Poet and Jingleman. He has been deeply involved in the local music scene for years. Jonathan Ditto is known as a promoter of live bands and underground house, hip hop, and electrDJsc djs for large outdoor and indoor events. He also worked for several years on the West Coast and Hawaii promoting many bands. Currently Ditto is also the promoter and co manager of the legendary Bruddah Waltah the “Father of Reggae” in Hawaii.
A Passion For The Music Industry Lies In Jonathan Ditto
The other love of Jonathan Ditto is writing songs and lyrics. He claims influence from such legendary songwriters as Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, Steve Miller, Boston, Johnny Cash and Tom Waits among others. His latest song making the rounds is “Confusion” or “Find Our Shine”, it hasn’t been finalized as of yet. It is Country Blues tinged track with a pretty piano melody that is elegant and catchy. Jonathan called in a demo singer from Nashville, Tennessee to really showcase the emotional storytelling lyrics. There is inspiration here to become a better person. Everything blends together nicely within the song which could be developed into a hit in multiple genres.
