LA Musician – KERA Teams Up With Trans Lifeline For Their New Single

So eloquently described as bipolar folk, LA based musician KERA has successfully established themselves as a revered songwriter and captivating performer. Standing for and with the LGBTQ+ community is of incredible importance to them and recently they released a single to help raise money for Trans Lifelife. Trans Lifeline is trans-led organization that provides services and support to members of the trans community in crisis. Financial support from the public for organizations such as this are absolutely critical to ensure they can continue to provide their incredibly important services.

KERA saw a need for further support for Trans Lifeline and went into action, choosing to give back to the organization that is committed to being a resource that the trans community can continue to rely on for years to come. So breeds “Bright Future Ahead” a single featuring Devendra Banhart, where all of the proceeds from the track will go directly towards Trans Lifeline.

The song offers a quiet power, smooth and swaying over the course of the three minutes, that translates seamlessly into the songs message.

‘Bright Future Ahead’ is the urgency to live unapologetically. A paradox between the helplessness in today’s political status quo and the need to support one another. This song is written with the intention of offering encouragement, community, and resilience to all who listen.
