Since I am in a working mood tonight and seem to be immersed in exotic talented female artists, I thought I would quickly share another one with you. Australian electronica/doom pop/sexrocktica artist Abbe May, is from a small coastal town in the SouthWest of Western Australia. She records music in a small studio by the Indian ocean. She needs to be more well known in North America. (Remember where you heard her first!)
Her latest song and accompanying video for the song ‘TROUBLE (T.R.O.U.B.L.E.)’ has been on constant repeat in my office for the past 2 hours. I can’t tell you exactly what it is about this track that gets me but I am sure it has something to do with sexual swagger of the deep tones, Abbe’s sultry voice and a strange falsetto that is stuck in my brain.
