The holidays are here.  That means best of 2013 album lists, constant holiday music in the stores, and year end parties to go to.  These parties usually lead to a lot of revelry and therefore a lot of drinking.  In my younger days I wouldn’t care what I was drinking as long as I got drunk and couldn’t remember what I did in the morning.  Those days are long gone.  Now I still want to party and get drunk but I want to do it with a drink that tastes good and makes me feel like more of the mature adult I am today.  One drink that now fills this need is Maestro Dobel Tequila.

Unfortunately Dobel is not as known as it should be.  This is high quality tequila.  It is in fact the first multi-aged clear tequila ever distilled.  Each bottle of Dobel is a blend of Reposado and Anejo made from 100% blue agave grown exclusively on the Dobel estate. It is then double distilled and matured in European White Oak barrels.  The work put into this tequila is obvious upon the first taste.

Personally I am sick of being given a bottle of wine by a guest at a party I throw.  The Maestro Dobel bottle is the perfect bottle to take to a party to present to the host.  It has the look of a vintage apothecary style bottle embossed with the family estate and signed by both Senor Dobel and the Master Blender.

Maestro Dobel Tequila

Bottom line; if you are out to impress this year head over with a bottle of Maestro Dobel Tequila.  You may have to answer some questions about this unique new drink you present but once they get a taste those questions will be the furthest thing from their mind.

Some people will drink it straight over ice.  I like mine mixed and even have a perfect recipe book for you to show off your bartending skills and make drinks that will be remembered, even after everyone is drunk.  Find it here.

Keep tabs on Dobel Tequila on their facebook page for more ideas for the holidays too.

*Also keep an eye on Indie Band Guru as well because we are trying to get a Dobel Tequila gift pack to give away to our loyal fans.  Stay tuned.
