Sarantos – Continues His Edgy Experimentation

Sarantos TIred

An artist with any dreams of success must be willing to always be experimenting and expanding their sound.  There is plenty of good music out there but fans do not want to just hear the same thing being repeated over and over again.  Give them something fresh and new and you will grow followers for your career.  Our friend Sarantos knows this and continues to develop new music in his own original way.

We have been covering many of the songs that the innovative musician from Park Ridge, Illinois has been releasing over the last year.  The ability of Sarantos to keep churning out new music month after month has been impressive.  He seems to find a muse and is able to turn it into a song very quickly.

The latest Sarantos release is the song “Tired Of Being Scared”.  It is a personal take on trying to not be afraid of showing your true feeling and sharing them with the world.  It seems to have been heavily influenced by the late David Bowie as well.  “This is a very special pop song to me,” says Sarantos. “Since I love 80s music and am heavily influenced by it as I try to merge it with modern pop rock, I thought one day about David Bowie. I was inspired by David Bowie for many reasons. His music, creativity, video presence, style, and secondary messages to his art were truly an inspiration. I had been working on this song when he passed away earlier this year. In my heart, I tried to visualize what David would’ve wanted me to do with a song like this and so I made this a tribute song to him.”  The vocals here scream of the experimental sound of Bowie but with a modern touch that brings even more nuances to the song.

Sarantos Continues To Share His Passions

Sarantos always has a message and mission with his music.  For this one, he feels that there should never be a reason for conflicted or confused young people struggling with mixed feelings of sexuality to commit suicide! The Trevor Project is a leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.

33% of any music-related sales profits from this song are going straight to The Trevor Project.
