There are many DJ’s out there making a great living spinning other people’s songs. They may consider themselves creative with their style of remixing and playlist creating but the DJ that puts together their own original music will always stand out in our eyes (and ears). Our friend DJ Tony Vegas is back with more fresh music for all to enjoy.
Although he was born in Sydney, Australia, Tony Vegas has been in Hungary for the last 20 years. For the past 6 years, he has been performing as a DJ at various local clubs in Budapest DJ Tony Vegas produces his own original songs and remixes instead of relying on what other artists have already done.
Initially, he leaned towards vocal trance and progressive house in his playlists, but for the last 2 years, his style has been focused on nu disco & chill out. These genres are attractive because of their relaxed feel with a slight up-tempo edge, and a return to real instruments such as the electric guitar, bass, and drums. It’s great for having a cocktail and a moving your hips by the pool.
For his latest track, “Midnight Hideaway” DJ Tony Vegas brought in the vocals of Destiny from the US. The song was just released on July 29th, 2016 on Seal Island Records. It provides that smooth chill out sound but has enough of a beat in the mix to keep up the energy and keep your head bopping along.
