Late on a Sunday night I usually like to try to relax and get ready for the week ahead.  With the wide variety of music we listen to hear all week I usually turn to something relaxing and beautiful to end the weekend.  Today I came across something perfect for this need.  Let us introduce you to the Francesco Amico Quartet.

Originally from Italy, Francesco Amico first learned guitar at a young age.  He was drawn to jazz composition and the skill of jazz fingerstyle.  He moved to Dublin, Ireland in 2000 and studied with the top Jazz guitarists at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.  The learning continued when he earned a scholarship to study jazz composition with Irish composer Ronan Guilfoyle, at “Newpark Music Centre”.

Searching for like minds Francesco formed a quartet with Patrice Brun: Tenor Saxophone, Cormac O’Brien: Double Bass, and Cormac Larkin: Drums.  Together they improvise to create a unique and original sound within the Jazz genre.  Their latest single “Slow Motion” is a testament to the beauty of the sound.  Enjoy the pretty sound and music video here:
