As young musicians we all have dreams of stardom. Many times life gets in the way and we are distracted and taken in different directions. Only the truly dedicated will focus on their music and make it through these tough adolescent years. Our recent find Mercury Messiah seems to be one such success story.
The 4-piece band from Montreal, Canada got their start at a young age. Childhood best friends Johnny Dims (vocals) and Mano Diles (guitar) started playing together in 2015 as early teens. Their bond and love for music only grew. They were joined by Alex Brunel (drums) and Corrado Johnston (bass) to complete the band. Together as Mercury Messiah they produce a classic rock sound that fits well in the modern music scene. Influences from such legends as Led Zeppelin, Rush and even The Beatles can be heard. Their music caught some attention and they were signed to a management deal with former Greta Van Fleet manager Michael Barbee of Dovetail Entertainment.
