“We all know what it is like to be at home, just laying in bed while our girl/boyfriend is out on the town and we are just waiting for their texts. It’s a drag, right?” Well, Taylor Grey and Spencer Kane have been there too but instead of being sad about it, they gave their duet “Miami” a little kick & twist. And, they’ve brought this upbeat single to life with the help of some big names.
The infectious, feel-good track features solo artist Spencer Kane and captures the Taylor Grey flirtatious personality and encompasses her ability to craft captivating lyrics.
“Miami” was directed by Shawnette Heard (Jon B, Temara Melek) and Executively Produced by Melissa Ciampa (Charli XCX, Fun.).
“I had a blast shooting the video for ‘Miami,’” shares Taylor. “I think that the video captures the fun and colorful energy of the song and I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks!”
“Miami” is the second single from Taylor’s debut album, Space Case. The first single, “Never Woulda Letcha,” was released earlier this year and has received well over 1 million plays and continues to rise. “Never Woulda Letcha” has been featured on Radio Disney, KIIS LA, Z100 and dozens of other Top 40 radio stations through the US. Space Case was executive produced by the award winning, Josh Abraham (Justin Bieber, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, etc.) and produced by numerous others, including Nico Stadi. It features special appearances by The Vamps’ Brad Simpson (“Fallin’”) and solo artist Spencer Kane (“Miami”).
Miami can be said to be the “city to get your shine on.” And with her latest track, Grey mirrors this sentiment. Check out more of her upcoming releases and connect with Taylor on her Facebook and twitter.
