From finally dropping a debut album, touring with All Time Low, and headling a US tour, it’s no doubt that Waterparks have had a huge 2017. While doing all of that, they recorded and prepared their second album, Entertainment, due out January 2018 — meaning Waterparks are setting up for an even bigger 2018.

Following up “Blonde,” this track showcases the raw side of frontman Awsten Knight and the band as a whole. The acoustic-only track follows a sappy romance that may not have ended well.
The video follows Knight’s journey wrapped up in blinking Christmas lights through the streets of Boston during the Made In America tour. Filmed and directed by Jawn Rocha, the maturity of Waterparks is shown in this video versus previous where the band could be seen dressed as dogs.
The simplicity of both the track and video work together to paint the true sappy love story that Knight is longingly relating. The toned down acoustic track, like “21 Questions” off the band’s debut album Double Dare, show a more emotional, less angry version of Waterparks that become the most relatable tracks.
So far, the two releases off Entertainment show that Waterparks are growing with their sounds and continuing to evolve.
