Frank Migliorelli & The Dirt Nappers Create An American Anthem

Frank Migliorelli & The Dirt Nappers

Some artists just have a quality you can’t ignore. Whether it be their ability to tell a story or just general easiness that comes with composing, they just create a story that can’t be replicators or quantities. New York City-based artists Frank Migliorelli & The Dirt Nappers uses this to their advantage. In their latest release Bass, Drums, Guitars, and Organs, Frank Migilorelli & The Dirt Nappers use a variety of styles but create a sort of fresh approach into each track.

They not only entertain their listeners with lead singer Frank Migliorelli’s smooth vocal styling and easy- going guitar, but also puts in their own special twist that separates them from their  Americana and Folk predecessors. They bring their own unique quality to promote their fun-loving genre-bending style.

Frank Migliorelli & The Dirt Nappers Create Their Own Sound

Another thing Frank Migliorelli & The Dirt Nappers brings to the table is a good time. It’s something you can see in their lead track “When She’s Walking On Your Side” onward.  Frank Migliorelli sings and performs with a sort of summer fun you can’t replicate. It’s more than just classic Americana. It works with all the elements- interesting lyrics. From “something happens when she walks into a room / it’s in her eyes and her smile / scent of her perfume” to this overall folky, yet plucky vibe.

To put it simply, it’s a sort of music you can’t help but enjoy. It covers it all, falling in love to heartbreak to spending the night together. Rather it be Migliorelli’s soothing yet brightening vocal tone or the group’s honest, yet entertaining lyrics – it’s an album you can’t put down.

On top of that, the group makes it an entire band effort to help mold them into this sound. As Migliorelli puts it, “As a songwriter and producer, I have a good idea of how I basically want a song to sound – but I want them to have certain qualities to them so I rely on these great musicians to help realize their full potential with their own input and interpretations,” Frank says. “The band brings their own color and flavor to my songs.”

The best part is how it overall flows to tell this amazingly upbeat, yet transparent story. It uses all his talent and songwriting ability to give an album that demands to be listened to all the way through.
