Networking and making great connections will always help in the career of an independent band surging for success. Our recent discovery The Loft Club has partnered with indie music mainstay Lisa Loeb to release the new co-written single “Flicker.” The video was shot and directed by Alice Deuchar, with animations by band member Jamie Whyte.
They also collaborated with Indie Band Guru allowing us to premiere the amazing music video for “Flicker” here. The always elegant Lisa Loeb introduces the video.

“Flicker,” available now through Lightyear/Caroline/Universal, is a melodic and ardent ballad, with heartfelt, soaring melodies, alongside harmonious arrangements of guitar, bass, and drums. The video perfectly depicts the song, with feel-good summery scenes.
Exeter-based, The Loft Club, is a 60s-inspired band, consisting of Daniel Schamroth, Jamie Whyte, Kieran Chalmers, Amy O’Loughlin and Dan Wright. The band is currently penning material for their debut album scheduled for early 2019. Their EP Heart’s Desire is out now.
Singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb started her career with the platinum-selling song “Stay (I Missed You)” from the film Reality Bites. It spent three weeks at Number 1 on the US Billboard charts in 1994, and spent fifteen weeks in the UK Singles chart, where it reached Number 6. Lisa has since recorded six studio albums, including the Grammy-nominated ‘Firecracker’ in 1997, and such hits as “I Do” and “Do You Sleep?” have joined “Stay” in reaching Billboard’s Top-20. In early 2018, the Dallas native took home an award for her latest album ‘Feel What U Feel’ at the 60th annual Grammy Awards.
